Naples is chaotic, gritty, graffiti-ridden, quite dirty in places, unsafe in certain areas, and unpolished . . . and yet there’s a vibrancy and energy to it that makes it a very compelling city. As you’re walking the streets, you’re not thinking "how beautiful, charming, or quaint", and yet there is still so much that makes Naples enjoyable and lovable. In her own way a certain beauty does shine through.
