Al Fadi and Dr. Jay begin a brand new series focused on a new book published in August of 2022 by the University of Oregon scholar/professor Dr Stephen Shoemaker, entitled “Creating the Qur’an.”

In his book Shoemaker addresses and confronts the Standard Islamic Narrative (i.e. the Islamic Traditions) concerning its views on how the Qur'an was created to first establish what is known and believed about the Qur'an among the Muslim's community.

He then addressed the issues and problems historically with these beliefs based on the very new and real evidence that is now available to us from ongoing historical research by the best scholars in this field, quoting them verbatim.

Yet, most of us have not seen these quotes, nor are we aware of exactly what they have found, primarily because the Muslim world doesn't want us to know about it.

It is in this book that then Dr Shoemaker brings this new and exciting material to light for us all, doing us a great favour.
