In the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) dressed down U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland for the Department’s repeated targeting of Alaska. The Secretary was present in committee today to present President Biden’s Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) when the Senator expressed her extreme frustration with the decisions from the Department of the Interior that have left Alaska unable to responsibly develop their resources for the benefit of the State and Nation.
