In this video, I get this Australian Made Vintage Leader Tipper Truck that was destined to be scrapped and see if it can still do a days work. This truck is Powered by a 3208 Caterpillar V8 diesel, an Eaton Road Ranger transmission and is fitted with Reyco Suspension. The truck is a 1977 model and they ran until about the mid 1980s. Leader Trucks were one of the first to use Cat Diesel engines and in Australia, to fit auto transmissions and have disc brakes.
