Almost three years ago, I designed and built what I called "Smart Garage Shelves." I was trying to solve a problem of better storage systems in my small garage where every bit of space mattered. I was tired of the clutter and wanted smarter garage shelves. I wanted smarter storage solutions.

Little did I know that this project and video would become my number one video on my channel. We have since moved from Texas to Montana and instead of a small new garage I have an average size and what used to be a 40 year old unfinished garage.
In this video as part of my "Dream Garage" playlist, I have created and built Smart Garage Shelves 2.0!

I have made several changes that improve what where already great garage shelves. In this video I give you 7 reasons why Smart Shelves 2.0 are smarter than the original smart garage shelves. I also then give you the details of how they are built.

These shelves are not meant to hold heavy objects, but rather lighter, common things for around the garage like WD40, quarts of oil, power steering fluid, etc.
