Welcome to Day 10 of Vlogmas. Stay up to date on my daily vlogs by hitting the subscribe button! Today is the start of a massive snowstorm here in Tahoe. My weekend plans are put on hold. As much as I love being busy and going places, this storm forced me to go inward and take a day to relax. I have honestly been feeling very overwhelmed; with one of the longest road trips I've ever taken on the horizon, plans and work have really gotten me stressed to the max. I have not been spending any time at my little home so today I decided to start taking self-care a little more seriously. I finally did my morning routine, put my phone down, and enjoyed a quiet, snowy day. I forgot how peaceful watching the snow fall from my place is. While my Jeep is in need of TLC, I plan on enjoying being snowed in.

As an adventure content creator living in a mountain town, I honestly feel like a giddy kid most of the time. The environment I live in is so fun for me, that sometimes I forget to slow down to take care of myself. Mountain life is so fun, and this storm has reminded me to also find balance in being calm and present. Not every moment needs to be adrenalin filled. :)
