From front-of-line access to the best attractions, a stunning lunch at Mythos, dinner at Antojitos, and even a backstage look at the parks, this was a pinch-me day. I also spend a more relaxed final day exploring on my own, from CityWalk dining and new Wicked merchandise to rooftop dining at Aventura and a full review of my stay.

This Universal Orlando Resort vlog begins with the VIP tour check-in at the Universal Studios Administration Building, where our guides Grace and Joe take us through both parks with minimal waits. Highlights include Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Revenge of the Mummy, and the classic ET Adventure. We also check out the new DreamWorks Land, the Horror Make-Up Show (which I’ve never seen before!), and spot Rip Ride Rockit being dismantled.

Lunch is at Mythos, often voted the best theme park restaurant in the world, where I enjoy the Chicken Pad Thai and Citrus Baklava. Dinner later is at Antojitos, with guacamole, burritos and tacos making it a perfect end to the day. Along the way I share tips on Express Pass usage, hotel shortcuts, fun facts from our guides, and backstage access perks that come with Universal’s VIP tours.

The following day is slower paced as I explore solo. I try the Big Apple Cheese sandwich at the Today Café, pick up Passholder freebies like an ET magnet and Niffler button, and shop the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store with WWE Wyatt Sicks and Five Nights at Freddy’s merchandise. I watch the Universal Mega Movie Parade for the first time, before browsing the incredible Wicked exhibition and treating myself to a couple of the exclusive T-shirts.

In the evening I grab a milkshake from Cabana Bay’s Shakes Malt Shop before heading up to Bar 17 Bistro at Aventura Hotel for Korean fried chicken with views over Orlando. I also share my full review of Aventura Hotel, covering its tech-driven rooms, amenities, pricing and overall value as a Prime Value resort.
