Rapid fire tongue problems including fibroma, hemangioma, papilloma, herpes, transient lingual papillitis (lie bumps), aphthous ulcers, pyogenic granuloma, sublingual thyroid, leukoplakia, erythroplakia, scalloped tongue, black hairy tongue, fissured tongue, scarlet fever (strawberry tongue), geographic tongue, median rhomboid glossitis, glossitis, and tongue cancer.

Please keep in mind that what is shown here are particularly severe or "typical" examples for each problem. There are different levels of severity including much milder cases which will not look as bad as what is shown.
