I gathered a small group of local filmmakers together and we shot a short film on 16mm using my Bolex H16 Rex1 camera and a single roll of expired Kodak Vision2 200T film. We randomly created a story using sticky notes and dice then went to Cope Park in Juneau, Alaska to film it. we did everything in one take and rehearsed several times to work out the details before filming. I'm new to 16mm flim and this was the first time I'd made a narrative project with synced sound. I had to slow the speed down to 80-90% of regular speed to get the sound to sync. I think this is because the Bolex frame rate was a little slower than it should have been.
