I'm so tired...
Tired of people discounting the vikings. Tired of people arguing that they're just savage, stupid brutes who were too dumb to cover up in the winter cold. In MattPatt's video, in Gnoggin's video, and in several Youtube comments and internet forums I've seen, I hear endlessly how the vikings were just dumb, simpleminded, barbarians who would lose any reasonable fight against actual warriors. That they contribute nothing to history...to society...to the world.
I'm tired of it.
I'm not going to pretend the vikings were perfect. I'm also not going to lie and say I think they'd win against a knight or a samurai. But I'm not going to listen to his garbage I hear peddled. In this video, I explain in brief summation the incredible significance of the vikings...the importance of their work, and the impact they've left on society.
This is a video I've wanted to do for a very long time, and I seriously hope you enjoy.
