Years ago, when I took my oldest son to his first concert, it was the New Pornographers. It was a great concert. The event organizers were providing the concert for free. It seems Neko Case figured this out about half way through, and she was pissed. She brought it up like three times, kinda muttering something like "I can't believe you are here for free." Haha. Granted a few of the people there were just scenesters, with no appreciation for the New Pornographers, but a lot of people were there for the New Pornographers. Free is great, but I hear you Neko, I like it more when the people at the concert are all in for you and your band. Well, this time around, everyone here was all in for the New Pornographers and/or Finom!

The New Pornographers are super talented. I love how all the different members contribute. Well composed lyrics, all the overlapping vocals, and they are money as instrumentalists.
