We are wandering the yards of East Ely Nevada - There are no fences. Few restrictions. And much to see.

While we have spent a lot of time in the shops and even the depot here at East Ely, and even wandered the yards in the past many times, STILL there are places we have never explored. Mostly the area behind the locomotive shops and west of the RIP building. The little shanties and shops, the blacksmith shop and carpenter shop used by the car repair department. The paint shop. The huge RIP (Repair In Place) building. And several abandoned cars.
