3. Remove the Air Filter: This may involve unscrewing a cover or simply removing a wing nut. The air filter is usually housed near the carburetor.



4. Disconnect Fuel Line: Disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor. Be careful as there may be some fuel left in the line.



5. Remove the Carburetor: Loosen the bolts holding the carburetor in place and carefully remove it from the engine. Keep track of any gaskets or seals.



6. Disassemble the Carburetor: Take apart the carburetor, making sure to remember the order of the parts and where they go. You may need to remove the float bowl, jets, and other components.
