Jeffery Michael Gordon is a retired American stock car racing driver who has spent most his career with Hendrick Motorsports. He began full time in 1993 and ended it 2015, driving the No 24 Chevrolet for this team until then while also serving as substitute driver when Dale Earnhardt Jr was unable to compete due to injury or other reasons (usually because he had already decided on what race they would take place). In total Jeff goes back even further than just 1988 when we first saw him competing at Indianapolis Mile during USAC Championship Car Racing season under manager Gene Harvey's guidance.
