How to blackout a chevy bowtie emblem in less than 5 minutes.

Many people don't want to go through the hassle of buying an aftermarket bowtie emblem or dealing with the cost and mess of paint.

In this installation video, I'll be showing how you can easily blackout your Chevy bowtie emblem in under 5 minutes. Using the materials in this video, you can have a custom bowtie of any color for less than $25.

To blackout this Chevy bowtie, I'll be using the 3M 1080 Series Carbon Fiber wrap film. However, you can buy many different colors and automotive vinyl types.

A 10" x 10" piece of vinyl should give you enough film to blackout both the front and rear Chevy bowtie.

What you need:

x1 Piece of Automotive Grade vinyl (10"x10")

x1 Bottle of 70% or 90% rubbing alcohol (or an alcohol wipe)

x1 Shop Towel or Microfiber Towel

x1 Snap-Off Razor Knife

Now you're ready to Blackout a Chevy Bowtie!
