More Steam Engines In One Place That You Can Imagine! Real Operating Steam Locomotives! These steam trains are in Cass, West Virginia at the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park. This is the Parade Of Steam. 5 Steam Locomotives putting on Americas best steam show. Plenty of smoke and whistles. There are 4 Shay locomotives and one Heisler locomotive that are all under steam and running between the railroad crossing at the train station and the water tower at the railroad shop area. We also see a double headed steam train at a public railroad crossing shoving up the steep mountain to Spruce, West Virginia.
When at Cass, listen in on 160.455 and find out what is going on. They also have an HO scale model railroad. It is seen near the end of the video. The model train layout is set up to represent what Cass looked like back in the day. Don't forget to see what the pets are up to and check out the slide show at the end of the video.
The Parade Of Steam is an annual event in Cass. I filmed this a couple years ago and posted it while the 2023 Parade Of Steam was going on. Look for the updated version out soon.
