Getting your first client can be hard, but using my tips in this video can help you get started. Often people talk about getting their ideal client, I think this doesn't make sense until you've had a few clients and can actually start to develop your ideas around the ideal client.

I recommend that your first clients be low hanging fruit - people from your network, your family and also your friends. Use Linkedin, use your email list, use your existing connections to get your first clients.

Most people try and get new big company clients right out the gate. This typically doesn't work. They don't know you, and your company is typically too new in order for them to buy from you. Go for smaller companies to start.
