This video is about unboxing the Insta360 X4 360 camera. I am excited to upgrade from my old GoPro Fusion camera because the Insta360 X4 is lighter, has better quality pictures and videos, and is overall more convenient to use.

Order here https://www.insta360.com/sal/x4?utm_t...
I ordered from EU and it come very quickly and not paying extra tax.

I am showing the contents of the box, which includes the camera itself, a charging cable, a carrying case, and some accessories.

Some test photos :

Some test videos :
   • Metta 18
Slow motion    • Metta Slow
   • Insta 360 X4 and 270Pro Backpack carb...
Underwater    • insta360 x4 underwater
Pool    • insta360 x4 test video

Advantages:
Waterproof to 10 meters ! (disappointed in first test videos and photos underwater )
Small size.
I can pair with my DJI Mic 2 via Bluetooth.
One file for one video (old cameras had 2 files from each side)
It can operate as both a 360-degree camera and a single-lens camera.
“Shoot First, Frame Later” Approach. The X4 follows the mantra of capturing everything and framing later during editing.
Nice stabilization.

Disadvantages
Photos at final are 8Mpix exported from 72Mpix.
Camera loves light. Then dark or indoors with bad light a lot of noise and quality drop. Limited Low-Light Performance.
Need extra batteries if you shoot all day.
Need to be very careful to protect front lens elements.
To capture the entire world in 360 degrees, you’ll need an “invisible” selfie stick.
No RAW format. Export to JPG on desktop software works like print screens.
Still visible stitching.
From 72 Megapixel 360 angle files at export you get 8 Megapixel (no matter how you reframe it).
In standard kit without case and extra lenses underwater photos and video are not sharp :(

VIDEO : you get 8K spherical images (X fps) and export to 4K rectangle (16:9) after reframing (4 x drop in resolution). no matter how you reframe it.
PHOTO you take 1 spherical frame at 72 Megapixels and export it to 8 Megapixel rectangle (16:9) after the same reframing ( 9 x drop in resolution). no matter how you reframe it.
