Hi every one, here in the UK Crows and Magpies can cause devastating damage to the ground nesting birds we have on our moors for example Curlews, lapwings meadow pipits and many many more, they also predate on the song bird population ,also around lambing time the crows will peck out the eyes of the new born lambs while they are vulnerable just after birth and even at times while the Ewe is giving birth crows will peck out the eyes and tongues of a lamb, so as a pest controller our laws let us control them all year round, here i am using a 223 rifle as the crows and magpies can wise up avoiding traps and keeping out of range of air rifles and shotguns at times.
