Why I ask for support through Patreon:
I love the firearms community and am thrilled to be able to give back to it by way of producing content for it. I want to both continue my pace of content production as well as improve its quality, all while adding to its diversity (shooting for accuracy videos, destructive target testing, high speed / slow motion, etc).

Appearances aside, I am not just some rich guy with a ton of guns. I had a good job and ideal set of circumstances for a few years that allowed me to invest heavily in building up a sizeable collection. Those circumstances are changing, and now I am turning to the community to help continue to make this channel exciting and successful. Your help and support are greatly appreciated.

All funds received by YouTube (very insignificant as firearms videos are largely demonetized) and by supporters via Patreon are to be reinvested into this channel in the following ways:
- Purchase and import of new feature firearms/gear: Being in Canada, it is often difficult for manufacturers/distributors to send me firearms for testing and review. Instead, I often have to purchase them personally, and in some cases even import them into the country.
- Ammunition: It takes funds to run the guns enough to be able to get a good overall impression for an accurate review.
- Production value: I am always looking to add better camera and lighting gear to be able to improve the final product you see.
- Range and targets: from more static steel targets, to future destructive target testing.

Thanks for checking out my Gun 101 overview video on the Robinson Armament XCR-M in .308. This is the large frame version of the XCR rifle. It is multi caliber and with a quick change barrel, bolt and mag it can be run in .308, .243 win, .260 rem, and 6.5 creedmoor. Check out my First Person Shooting video of the XCR-M rifle and M96 Stoner 63 clone, as well as the other Gun 101 and Field Strip videos on the Robinson Armament rifles in my collection.

The XCR is personally my favourite modern semi auto rifle platform. Even though the FN Scar 17 won the SCAR program, I believe this rifle, especially in .308, is superior in its ergonomics and its quick barrel change system.

The Robinson Armament XCR family of rifles is non-restricted in Canada dependent on barrel length. Models with 18.5"+ barrels are non restricted, and rifles with barrels shorter than that are restricted. Both examples are shown in this video. The long guns are legal to own with a PAL, and the short barrel rifle requires a RPAL. I am properly licensed for these firearms.
