In this video we describe how to read analog inputs with a raspberry pi. We use a MCP3008 Analog to Digital converter (ADC) to convert analog signals from a potentiometer to digital signals. This allows the raspberry pi to understand the input value. The code was written in Python 3 and was run on a Raspberry Pi 3b with Raspberry Pi OS (Raspbian).
