We built a DIY shifter kart and we want to see how it performs up against a torque converter go kart. We're using a Manco Dingo with a Tillotson 212cc engine equipped with a 30 series torque-a-verter system from Go Power Sports against our American Express 2.0 "shifter kart" with a Tillotson 212cc engine paired to a Yamaha Blaster transmission. We throw in the Yard Dart for good measure, and the coffin kart even makes an appearance in this head to head backyard go kart race.
