1979 Trillium 1300 Restoration Project (Trillium's are similar to other small fiberglass RV camper trailers such as Scamp, Casita, Boler, Happier Camper, etc).

In this episode, we remove the trailer from the body or shell of the camper.

Here's the process (much thanks to Michele for the instructions) :

1. Jack the the whole trailer up, frame and all.
2. Block up under the fiberglass body in multiple locations.
3. Gently lower the steel frame letting it's weight separate the connection.
4. When there is enough gap, slide 2 long pcs of wood between the body and the frame, parallel to the axle, one in front and one in back.
5. Jack the wood beams and block the ends outboard of the tires.
6. Remove the first set of blocks from under the body.
7. Roll the trailer out from under the body.
8. Resupport the body to fully stabilize it.
