In this video, the ZipDrain tool is being used to safely and cleanly drain an overhead sewer in a small closet. This particular overhead sewer did not have a cleanout outside and it ran directly under the garage, so the only way to rod it was to first drain the water from it.

The ZipDrain tool made that possible! By clamping the tool over the cleanout cover and drilling a hole through the cover, we were able to contain the mess into a bucket, garbage can or pumper truck. Once the water was drained, we rodded the sewer and pumped the drained water back into the sewer.
