Slideshow of the conversion process. It's long. I don't really do videos, so it's just a slideshow.
Body will not be painted beyond basic blending of sectioned panels. I made this to be a utility vehicle. Tried to make the lines as factory looking as possible. Flipped the "C" pillar & used it for the "B" pillar, makes the side flow better than having the skinny rear door frame as the "B" pillar.
Fully functional mid-gate, unlike the Swedish A-Traktor "Ute". I think they have strict regulations governing the body mod.
Required rear quarter/D pillar sections to make the mid-gate cut from another 745/945, and an additional tailgate.
Seats are from a Honda S2000, using modified Volvo seat rails to maintain the side impact protection.
Rear floor cover is all the factory wooden panels, stripped of the carpeting and epoxied.
All suspension & brakes have been replaced/upgraded to 302 in front. IPD sway bars F&R. Overload springs in the rear.
Current drivetrain is the original US spec B230F Regina/Rex, AW71 automatic, with an added Volvo 13c turbo intercooler setup, running only .5bar max. 220K miles. Chevy LR4 / 4L60e drivetrain conversion is next for this truck.

Credit to StiggyPop on Turbobricks for the tailgate slider design.

Some procedural inspiration taken from this KL Racing.se YT from Bilsport Magazine:
