The heated dog booth is very easy to make with your own hands. Heating for a booth can be very simple and effective. I used some planks, some sheet metal, light bulbs and wires. I first made such a heating system for heating a rabbitry, 10-15 years ago. In severe frosts, the rabbits were very comfortable. But now I use the same heating system to heat the booth in winter.
I have a puppy who is just getting ready to meet winter on the street. He will of course overwinter in a simple booth. But you can make life more comfortable for him, and the food will go for growth, and not for heating the body. The dog needs to grow now.
