Portal’s categories:

Glitchless: no glitch.
Inbounds No SLA: all glitches besides Save Glitch.
Inbounds: all glitches.
Out of Bounds (OOB):all glitches and you’re allowed to go out.



Important terms:

ABH / AFH / ASG: highly efficient moving techniques.

ABH: Backwards (most common)
AFH: Forwards (it’s... hard.)
ASH: Sideways

ABH Over Goo: ABH in 08.

Edge Glitch: When you're close to portal A, next to a corner, the game gets a little confused and thinks you're next to portal B. The technique requires you to stay next to portal A. Allows you to shoot portals in places you're not supposed to be able to reach from your initial position.

Save Glitch: Saving and reloading the game when you're in Edge Glitch, so as to stay in the glitch. Allows you to shoot portals in places you're not supposed to be able to reach from your initial position, and to have different collisions allowing you to pass through walls.

Infront Elevator: Somehow ending up at the front of the elevator (and not in it) at the start of a level, so you don't have to wait for the doors to open.

Portal Bump: Pulling a portal A over a portal B in such a way as to cause portal B to slide to a point it should not have been able to reach.

Reportal: Pulling the portal you're passing through for a speed boost. A relatively simple technique.
