Who will we be rooting for during the 2022 World Cup? We have been living in Poland for the last few weeks and we have strong family ties to Poland- should we root for them? But then again we were born in the United States and that can't be ignored? But what about Mexico, our home for the last six years? 😱

How did we get World Cup Tickets?
Luck.

Essentially we just put our names in the lottery system to try and win tickets to follow a certain team. We crossed our fingers, waited, and somehow we "won" the tickets!

We have friends living in Doha, Qatar and several years ago they told us that if we were able to get tickets that we could stay with them during the World Cup. I'm not sure they thought we would really try and get tickets! So although the World Cup is quite pricey, having a free place to stay for two weeks makes it significantly cheaper!
