Want to use ChatGPT to create Google and SEO-friendly content? It's easy to do if you train it correctly first.

In this video I show you how to create your own personal SEO writing assistant trained to follow Google's latest Helpful Content Update and EEAT guidelines.

Here are the prompts I used:

Prompt: If you wanted a writer to create a new piece of content built to perform well in Google search, based on the {text} what key instructions would you give to them?

{text} =

(Note: You would then paste in the information from the Google Helpful Content update as shown in the video after the {text} = )

Prompt: I want you to remember those 5 points. Let's call them the Helpful Content Guidelines. Okay?

Prompt: If you wanted a writer to create a new piece of content built to perform well in Google search, based on the {text} what key instructions would you give to them?

{text} =

(Note: You would then paste in the information from the Google EEAT Guidelines as shown in the video after the {text} = )

Prompt: I want you to remember those 5 points. Let's call them the EEAT Guidelines. okay?

Prompt: Show me the Helpful Content Guidelines followed by the EEAT Guidelines.

Prompt: If I wanted to create a new article that was a guide on how to use the zettelkasten method that will target as its primary keyword "Zettelkasten method", what are the most semantically related entities that I should include in the content? I want you to put them in a table showing the entities, their salience scores, and how many times you recommend to use each one in the piece of content.

Prompt: I want you to convert that table into a text version instead.

Prompt: Now keeping in mind the Helpful Content Guidelines, EEAT Guidelines, and Entity Data, I want you to build me an outline for an article about the Zettelkasten Method titled "The Ultimate Guide to Zettelkasten". Do not include information about the Helpful Content Guidelines, EEAT Guidelines, or Entity Data in the outline itself. They are guidelines for you to use in creating the outline.

Prompt: Convert the outline to appropriate H2, H3, and H4 headers.

Prompt: I want you to create a prompt for me to use. This prompt will command you to write the introduction of the article we have discussed up to this point. It should be based on the outline you just provided above and should instruct you to follow the Helpful Content Guidelines and the EEAT Guidelines. It should also instruct you to use the Entity Data. I want this prompt to be as detailed and long as is necessary. The article should also be written from the point of view of someone who uses the Zettelkasten method regularly. Create the prompt.

(Note: As of March 13, 2023, I modified this prompt slightly from what was used in the video to get it to perform more consistently with recent ChatGPT updates.)
