One of my local viewers brought me his bike to "tune up" before an upcoming trip to the Erie Canal Trail this spring. The bike was in pretty good shape, and definitely in need of a tuneup, but his DIY fork replacement job threw me some curveballs along the way. To be fair, he did disclose that he installed the fork himself. The problems weren't obvious at first glance and really weren't that hard to sort out. Kudos for trying, but even more kudos for bringing it to a pro!
