Dinosaurs are... fascinating creatures. They tend to capture people's imaginations and are often portrayed as monsters, making them feel almost fictional. When you visit a museum and see their recovered skeletons, you almost can't help but stare in awe at their size. It's no surprise then, that Disney has had a long history of creatively portraying these creatures in both film and at the parks. Today we're going to be taking a look at this history, and seeing how popular culture has evolved the portrayal of these creatures. We're also going to be analyzing Disney's relationship to both dinosaurs and their cultural depictions, and wow, there's quite a bit we're going to be digesting here... no pun intended.
