"The freeway stunt landed band members in jail for about 15 hours after California Highway Patrol officers helped them off the truck with a ladder. They said afterward that they had planned the stunt not just to promote their music, but also to help feed homeless children.

Wright acknowledged that the message got lost in the publicity of their stunt, but said the group has raised a “large sum” of money for needy children through donations and concerts.

“I feel like we did it for a good cause, man, we really did,” he said of the stunt. But he added: “I do feel for the people out there who were really set back." - OC Register
