Since both Kane and Tel only hit the post, the score was 0-0 going into halftime. After further chances, Raphaël Guerreiro scored after a beautifully executed corner from Kimmich. A late counter attack nearly drew the match, but Sven Ulreich came up with a clutch save, before Thomas Müller stole the ball away from the opposing player late in added time to score the decisive second goal. The next home game will already take place on Wednesday, as FC Bayern plays host to Arsenal FC on the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final.
