These Floating Shelves are a fun project to make and look great. If you buy a piece of lumber that is already milled nice and straight you can skip the first part of this video. All you need to do is drill a few nice and straight holes , rip off a 3/4" piece of the back then glue some dowels to it . Hang the strip on the wall with some screws. Slide the floating shelves on to the dowels, then put another coat of paint to help hide the seam and you are finished. Have a fun build and be careful and safe.
