We're looking back this year at the television season of fifty years ago - the 1973-74 television season... today, more from The Dean Martin Variety Show, which was on its final season in the winter of 1974. This clip is from October, 1967, and features a young comedian named Flip Wilson, just a couple of years prior to becoming a star for NBC on his own television variety show. In this video clip, we can begin to see some of the familiar tag lines and impressions that Flip would deploy so successfully on his landmark television series.
