Operation Dread Factor is introducing a new defending Operator named Fenrir to Rainbow Six Siege. His unique gadget – the F-NATT Dread Mine – releases a fear-inducing gas that drastically affects the vision of anyone caught within its area of effect, and he has quite a few of them to deploy in strategic places. Year 8 Season 2 is also bringing a suite of free updates for all players, including an extensive map rework for Consulate, more lanes for the Shooting Range, a Permanent Arcade playlist, a buff for Grim and his Kawan Hive Launcher, and more.
