When you take delivery of your new Tesla, chances are you are going to want to add all weather protection to the interior. In doing so, you will find numerous brands offering solutions regardless of the Tesla you go with.

Weather its a Tesla Model Y, Model 3, Model S or Model X, you will want to go with a brand that performs and meets your aesthetic preferences. For us, it was 3D MAXPider for all of our Teslas. But just getting the mats was the first step, I discovered how to seal these mats to keep them looking fresh longer.

When you get an all weather floor mat for your Tesla, there are going to be pours in the material. The only way to keep the shine and black finish on these mats is to seal them. With a simple application of a relatively cheap product, you can keep your floor mats looking good for a long time to come.

I put 40k miles on our last Model Y and kept a hold of the floor mats I had in them that I did indeed seal. The new Model Y, I decided to hold off on sealing them to show the difference one day. The day has come to show you what 40k miles of use while sealed looks like vs less than half the miles with no sealer.

You can clearly see the sealer does a great job keeping the Tesla mats looking fresh and easier to clean. Not only have I had a great experience with MAXPider, but the sealer has made these floor mats last longer.
