Yasmin’s Attitude Pride Icon award. “Obviously I don’t carry this around all the time, just in the times where I need a little bit of motivation,” says the British Vogue December 2022 cover star. “It wasn’t just a win for me. It was a win for the whole community in the sense that we are being seen”.

Yasmin Finney’s daily essentials include her Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris eau de parfum, her Soap & Glory hand cream and her “gorgeous chic shades” by Miu Miu. Another must-have is Yasmin’s Fenty Beauty powder by Rihanna. “My make-up for me is a way of expressing myself, and it’s also kind of like armour for me to go out into society and navigate it as a trans woman”.
