After 10 days venturing to Bishop, California for Cody's (mostly) annual climbing trip, it was my turn to take us on an adventure! We had roughly 1.5 days left and I was wanting to find a new spot for the both of us. Although we were hoping to find something a bit closer to home to help break up the drive, roughly 2 hours from where we were at was the mesmerizing Alabama Hills. And with only one day to really enjoy it, it felt like a tease! The endless boulders and interesting shapes, the deep colors of the sunset, the Milky Way brighter than ever... It still feels surreal typing this now.
