This is one of those things that has been on my "to-do" list for a couple of years, it just never seemed to get done. The old wiper arm was completely shot; the end where the blade attaches was completely broken so the blade itself was only being held in via spring tension from the arm, and the washer fluid hose had broken off of the spray nozzle and was just hanging down.

Well, today is the day that we fix it. For a whopping $15 or so on Amazon, these replacement wiper arm kits are inexpensive, surprisingly well constructed for the money, and are pretty easy to install with basic tools. While you can get away with doing this job without a puller, I highly recommend you at least rent one from the local parts store - they are a sure-fire way to make sure you don't damage anything. As for the surprise washer hose leak at the end...I'll have to investigate that this weekend and find out what broke. 🤣

Wiper arm kit here (note, the price on these just jumped up to $16.99, but still a great deal for the whole kit):

If you'd like to purchase the same Lisle puller I used in the video, they can also be found on Amazon:

Thanks for watching, and happy wrenching!
