Our disaster prevention stories continue in this episode. And yes, we lost our newly bought #Parasail ! But that is not the whole story.

After we prepared our #catamaran in Morocco for the Atlantic crossing, we went back to Gibraltar to get our new parasail. Our departure got delayed by a storm where our neighbour lost his anchor and almost hit us. We managed to help him to safely put him in the Marina. Then, we started our passage to Canary Islands.

The very first day and the first time we raised our parasail, within 12 hours we lost it completely in the water under our boat, 4 in the morning in the Atlantic #Ocean . However, we managed to recover a 170 m2 sail, pulling it back on board, whilst battling 4 metre swells in pitch dark with minimum damage.
