Predicting whether the sunrise will be a magical spectacle is increasingly easy to predict with weather apps, but the Viewfindr app is specifically aimed at photography. Niels Dam and I wanted to test this by choosing a location based on the forecast in this app and waiting. To show how that works, I also recorded my phone screen so you can watch. It's hard to ignore, the app was spot-on and it turned out to be a great morning. In addition, I was also able to make some drone images to watch from the air. It was cold again, getting up was hard again, but when you see the results again, I'm glad I went.
