Silicon Valley Bank Collapse. The bank collapsed yesterday (March 10th, 2023) when the regulators took over and closed all their branches. Silicon Valley Bank is a top 20 U.S. bank that manages over $212B in assets. This news could not come at a worse time than the one we are in now, when inflation is record high, mortgage interest rates are at 7% and Home affordability is out of reach for most people.
