I made this recording for my school chamber orchestra. I record ALL the parts on REAL instruments - violin, viola, cello and double bass. Each track has to be recorded in real time.

I can then make score videos for each part for the students with a click track for them to work with - on Youtube, they can slow down the video without changing pitch.

For the technically minded, I am using Cubase Pro as my DAW - Tascam DM3200 is now just a control surface - interface is an RME Fireface 400. Microphone is a Rode NTK valve mic into an RME quadmic pre amplifier.
