With a CR-V, RAV4. and Rogue being seen around every corner shoppers looking to not blend in have a few choices to pick. GMC's Terrain has always filled that niche with its standout design and larger size. For the second generation, what it loses in weight and dimensions can be made up for in fuel efficiency and acceleration. Its unique exterior styling certainly helps as well, but just be aware that for not much more/similar money, you could also look at something with a true luxury badge.
