Taoiseach Simon Harris has said Ireland will not provide a “loophole” for other countries’ migration challenges.

This came after comments from UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who said that the Rwanda policy is working, based on the numbers now coming into the Republic.

Shane Coleman called out the policy on Newstalk Breakfast saying: ‘Rishi Sunak was playing politics before an election and using us to play politics… it was shabby practice.’
