She became known for her participation in the 5th season of the show, American Idol. In 2014, she won a Grammy Award in the best contemporary Christian music category, for her record, Overcomer.

As a football player, he played 11 National Football League seasons, nine of them with the Buffalo Bills, was selected to the Pro Bowl 5 times, and was the first NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season.
