15 months ago I installed the MRCOOL DIY 3rd Gen Heat Pump in my shop. After an intense summer and winter is it still going strong?! I give an in depth review of my mini split using it year round for heating and cooling, how loud it is, and if I've had any issues pop up since installing by myself. I also answer your questions from my install video!

**CORRECTION!** I mistakenly said the refrigerant lines should be vertical and not laid horizontally. The instructions unfortunately were confusing and I missed the line about laying them horizontally, and many of their illustrations show them vertical. Even Mr. Cool's own install video show the lines coiled vertically. Apologies for the confusion! An upgrade I plan on in the not too distant future is getting these lines cut to size to avoid the coil at all, and to clean up the look.
