Mt. Komorebi is broken up into three main areas as well as the mountain itself. The three areas are Wakaba, Senbamachi and Yukimatsu. Wakaba has a more relaxed countryside feel, while Senbamachi feels more built up. Despite this Senbamachi has an amazing countryside north west of the residential area, including a bamboo forest and a beautiful Japanese-style temple.

Finally Yukimatsu is a snowy area filled with chilly hiking trails, skiing and snowboarding fields, as well as rock climbing walls. This is also the area where you can begin climbing Mt. Komorebi itself from.
