Complete building process of a custom Les Paul Guitar: every episode, every step, from scratch to finish.

The guitar was ordered on commission by a customer who wanted a revisited Les Paul, with modern and unconventional details.
The main features, however, are faithful to the classic Gibson Les Paul: the body is in Kaya mahogany, top in carved maple, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with squared mother-of-pearl fret markers.
Multi-ply binding and ebony headstock, like Gibson standards, but with custom logo.
Medium Jumbo nickel silver frets, double action truss rod, tune-omatic bridge.
The customer wanted the comfort cut both in the body and in the neck attachment area, and also the customer requested to wire the electronic part himself, so that part was not completed by me in this case.

La chitarra è stata ordinata su commissione da un cliente che voleva una Les Paul rivisitata, con dettagli moderni e fuori dagli schemi.

Le caratteristiche principali però sono fedeli alla classica Gibson Les Paul: il corpo è in mogano Kaya, top in acero liscio carvato, manico in mogano e tastiera in ebano con segnatasti squadrati in madreperla.
Binding multistrato e copripaletta in ebano, come da standard Gibson, ma con logo custom.
Tasti medium Jumbo nickel silver, truss rod a doppia azione, ponte tune-omatic.
Il cliente ha voluto lo smusso posteriore sia nel corpo che nella zona dell'attacco manico, e inoltre il cliente ha richiesto di cablare la parte elettronica lui stesso, quindi quella parte non è stata ultimata da me in questo caso.
